It’s just one day before Christmas, and you have time for a peaceful visit to a picturesque village, followed by relaxation during a long spa treatment. A river cruise with A-ROSA will let you forget the stress of Christmas and focus on your personal wish list. Over there, the light blue monastery tower; over there, the picturesque landscape of the Wachau Valley draped in white frost. All the way to festive Vienna, where you can choose what best puts you in the holiday spirit: a carriage ride to the palace, white Lipizzaner horses, or Mass at St. Stephen’s Cathedral? And finally, as the icing on the cake, a visit to the divine Melk Abbey.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials—such as menus, public announcements, etc.—are in English. Similarly, excursions are available with English-speaking guides, and the onboard staff speaks English (and usually German as well).
Melk - Wachau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies in the Danube Valley and will enchant you with its beautiful landscape. And of course, you shouldn’t miss a visit to the Wachau’s dominant landmark, the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. Here, the towns and nature harmonize in a special way.
Vienna - Once you find yourself in Vienna for a few hours, you won’t want to rush. You’ll want to visit the countless cafés where traditional Viennese café culture still thrives today. And the rich history of the emperors, Sissi, and the Habsburgs, with their lavish lifestyle, adds to the city’s fascination. Or you can lose yourself in the sounds of Viennese classical music. The Austrian capital also inspires on a culinary level: it’s no coincidence that the famous Wiener Schnitzel and Sachertorte have become household names around the world.
SPA-ROSA: Everyone has their own way of relaxing: in their cabin, on the sun deck, while reading, taking a walk, admiring the surroundings, or visiting SPA-ROSA. What else is there to do but try it all!

We recommend that customers park directly in Passau. Customers can make their own parking reservations, or we’ll be happy to assist them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made through Globus Parkhaus. You can make a reservation online at www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on-site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to and from the ship, including luggage.
We recommend booking parking well in advance.
